Artist's Career

Based on her previous graduation in architecture, Btihal Remli is very interested in spaces, especially more on immaterial spaces than physical ones, including philosophical and anthropological context. Another area that is very important in her work is the controversy with her Moroccan origins and the identity that she built up while growing up in Europe, which had emerged from a clash of culture. Her photographic work is the method and the tool to understand her own stance on those topics, but also to convey observations into statement.
