For Luana Letts the techniques of expression work in favour of the concept. The ideas can be addressed through different kind of languages and each one of them has its own way to be expressed. She usually takes a lot of time to observe, think, measure and decide before executing anything. The process defines the final artwork. Peru confronts a severe environmental pro-blematic linked to climate change, water distribution, waste management, mass migra-tion. For the last seven years, Luana Letts has been developing her work around ideas related to the transformation of the landscape, as well as the different uses people give to the territory and their strate-gies of integration.
